Johnny's Top - 5 Most Anticipated Games For 2014

There are a lot of games coming out this year, especially since the new generation of game consoles have been able to get a firm foothold in the industry. So I sat myself down and thought to myself: "Which are the fives games that I want to play the most this year?" So I decided to share with you this list of my most anticipated games in 2014. It was not an easy list to compile since there are so many great titles to be released this year. Here goes nothing:

5: Tales Of Xillia 2

Tales Of Xillia was released last year, and is widely regarded as one of the best releases in the series inas of late. It sported great graphics, awesome battles, as well as a nice story with fun characters. The few flaws it had were overshadowed by the good parts of the game. Now I can't wait for the sequel to drop in later this year. Ludger Kresnik is one of many reasons for this, as is the hopes of bettering some of the flaws the original game had (like the map design for example). As a Tales Of fan I cannot stop looking forward to it.

4: Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor

A fighting system that takes inspiration from the Batman Arkham series, a nemesis system that will let the player customize his opponents, and nice graphics. Shadow Of Mordor promises that every playthrough is going to be different, I like the sound of that. The game looks good, and if it can keep it's promises we will surely have a huge hit stomping in on us this year. Let's just hope that it does not drown into it's own systems.

3: Super Smash Bros for 3DS

I am one of those who never thought that Super Smash Bros would be released for a handheld system, so when Nintendo announced Super Smash Bros for the 3DS I was very excited. It looks pretty good on the 3DS screen and comes packed with levels and features that will be a bit different on the it's WiiU counterpart. While both versions looks great, the 3DS version is what makes me wet my pants at night.

2: The Evil Within

Finally, the return of survival horror! I have always been a fan of Shinji Mikami's work, and The Evil Within looks to be right up my alley. I am one of those who were pretty unhappy with the directions that Resident Evil 5 as well as 6 took, therefore I am very happy that Shinji Mikami's  latest, looks like the Resident Evil that we never got. Scary, beautiful and crazy.

1: Destiny

Destiny have been in development for quite some time now, and every time Bungie shows more of the game, my brain goes crazy. High octane first person battles, camera zooming out to third person when using powers, loot, a gorgeous looking world, ingredients that have been seen in games before but looks so refined in Destiny. In short, it looks fun, I want to play it now. See you guys in the Beta!

Do you agree with my list? Which games do you guys feel most excited for this year? Feel free to comment below.

Recent Game Releases: Divinity Original Sin

Another crowdfunded game has been released! Larian Studios has officially declared it's release of Divinity: Original Sin for the PC and Mac. The game features traditional rpg elements such as: tactical combat, co-op, crafting, deep character creation and more. It also claims to let the player take his own path to the goal of the game.  The game is available for purchase at Steam for 39,99€.

Divinity: Original Sin successfully raised $944,228 on it's Kickstarter page on April 26 last year.
Now the question is? Have Lariat Studios succeeded in creating a balance between all these classic gameplay elements? That is what I personally often find to be the problem with many rpg's that fills it's world to the brim with content, as well as systems. Stay tuned to Gamigonlive, as a review of the game will come at a later date.

Curious about the look of the game? Check out the feature trailer below:

Woolfe The Red Hood Diaries Will Be Playable At Gamescom

Some of you might have heard about a sidescroller called Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries, a platformer based on the classic French fairy tale Red Riding Hood. The game is being developed by a company called GriN. Woolfe is scheduled for release later this year for PC, PS4 and Xbox One

Today GriN announced that Woolfe will be playable at Gamescom for the very first time. They will even hold a special highscore challenge, for all who decides to try the game out at the floors of Gamescom. The top players in this challenge will be able to grab some limited edition prizes, which could potentially be pretty cool. GriN also promises something special for cosplayers dressing up as Red Hood at the event.

Personally I find these news pretty exciting. Woolfe looks to become a very dark and unique take on The Red Riding Hood, which is a fantastic classic when it comes to fairytales. Check out the teaser trailer below to get a taste of what the game is all about.

What do you guys think about Woolfe? Feel free to comment.

After a long Hiatus, Gamigon Live is back! With new plans!

Hello everyone!

This is Johnny Aka Gamigon, here for Gamigon Live!

After a time of hiatus, reflection and personal experiences, I am ready to bring Gamigon Live back into action! I will refocus however. First and foremost I want gamigonlive.com to be a place to go for people who wants honest opinions and news about Video Games. I want to do this by writing first and foremost. That said, the twitch channel will still be there for live performances and the Youtube channel will also host "not-so-live" videos made for you, the readers.

I started GamigonLive with Twitch as the focus, but I have realized that I want something else with it, a combination of sorts if you will. So in the coming weeks you will see both a lot of written contend, well as video content. News and opinions will primarily be in written format, while reviews will primarily be in video format.

With that said, I hope that you all will enjoy your time here at gamigonlive.com, and if you are interested to see what Gamigon Live was before, check out earlier threads and the Twitch channel.

Also feel free to post any suggestions  and opinions in our Twitter to your right, or the comment section down below.

Day 4/1095 decided: The Adventure Of Tindra The Paladin Build Continues

After an intense day with both Tales Of Xillia and Dark Souls II, I have decided that Day 4 (Satuday) is going to be a Dark Souls II stream day. How come? Because DSII is freaking amazing! I am really getting into the game, and after beating the first old one today, I am super excited to continue playing the game.

My build is very Palading inspired, with Str, Vit, Fth as the most "focused on" stat. This means that I am able to fight with a huge sword, as well as, being able to use healing spells. So far this build have turned out pretty well, so tune in to see it in action tomorrow : )

Below I have posted my favorite moment from Day 3 of the stream:

Day 2/1095 Is Over, and Dark Souls II Is Awesome. Day 3 Will Start Off With Tales Of Xillia

It has been an intense streaming day here at Gamigon Live. The whole day have been a Dark Souls II day, and I am slowly but surely starting to fall in love with the game. I have realized that I managed to run past 2 of the games beginning areas, straight into arms of the Dragonrider boss. I realized this, after I had finished him and was well on way into the are beyond the boss. So after some backtracking, even more bossbeating and cool two handed sword swinging, I only got one more thing to say about this game. I love it.

Tomorrow I have decided to begin the stream with my Tales Of Xillia Unknown Difficulty run, and I will play some more Dark Souls 2 after that. That is tomorrow Friday at: 5:00 AM GMT +1 (12:00 AM EST), and it will be day nr 3/1095 of the challenge. So check in then for two awesome games in one stream.

Below you can check out my favorite Dark Souls II moment from today:
